Thermo-Technik GmbH is upgrading considerably. The self-propelled robot has two infrared sensors with which it scans its surroundings. In addition, two camera systems are used for orientation in the production hall. Thanks to this orientation technology, it reliably detects obstacles and avoids them independently.<\/p>\n<p>The one-off programming of the transport robot is relatively simple and quick to learn. The robot is manually steered through the building once, which creates a virtual map. On this map, the MIR 200 can then be assigned stopping points, preferred paths and blocked paths. This ease of use means that the robot can adapt quickly to new developments at any time and does not need to be laboriously reprogrammed.<\/p>\n<p>Doors can even be opened and elevators put into operation via Bluetooth. B+B would also like to put these features of the MIR 200 into operation as soon as possible, although this will involve retrofitting the doors and the elevator. Thus, in the near future, the robot could take over the complete logistical traffic within the commercial buildings.
