The city of Br\u00e4unlingen has entered into a new partnership with B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH, headquartered in Donaueschingen. Measuring devices for digital monitoring of room temperature and humidity were sought for the Kelnhof Museum &#8211; and in the Donaueschingen-based company, a partner was found who was responsive to specific wishes and peculiarities.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #575756;\">Final results of our development<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #575756;\">The final result of a two-year development and test phase now delivers a suitable monitoring system and thus exact measured values directly to the PC. &#8220;This not only fulfills a condition of loan agreements, but also finally provides exact data over longer periods of time as a basis for scheduled air conditioning of the premises for the urgently needed protection not only of the building, but especially of the extremely valuable exhibits in the Kelnhof Museum, for which we have a great responsibility,&#8221; says Maren Ott of the Culture, Halls, Clubs staff department.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #575756;\">Long distances can be bridged<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #575756;\">Since the sensors of the so-called &#8220;kiro spot system&#8221; are equipped with targeted radio technology, long distances can be bridged, transmitting the signal even through concrete or steel walls. As the supervising partner of B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH, Philipp Schuh personally comments on this pilot project: &#8220;The sensor units are battery-operated and transmit the measured values using a special radio technology that ensures a long range and transmission reliability even in massive buildings. Another positive component is the quick installation, which eliminates the need for any cabling. In addition, we as a company provide a convenient service, which is why those responsible at Kelnhof-Musuem can now clearly monitor the data at any time via a cloud.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #575756;\">Various customers and industries<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #575756;\">With wireless sensor technology playing an increasingly important role, B+B already has other projects underway for various customers and industries. &#8220;In addition to public institutions such as churches, museums and school buildings, more and more customers in mechanical and plant engineering as well as agriculture are also using this wireless measurement technology,&#8221;
