DigiRail IoT Ethernet & WiFi
The smart gateway
The DigiRail IoT is a smart gateway specifically designed to wirelessly connect sensors, transducers, and actuators to local systems or cloud platforms. It is an effective solution for industrial automation and IoT projects, as well as for building automation. Thanks to Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity and support for common protocols such as MQTT and Modbus TCP/RTU, it ensures secure and stable communication with networks, computers, and mobile devices, as well as various cloud platforms. The DigiRail IoT features six digital inputs, two analog inputs, and two digital outputs; an RS485 interface; a USB interface; a communication interface for Wi-Fi or Ethernet; and is also compatible with the leading cloud platforms on the market. Furthermore, it can be integrated into MES, SCADA, and ERP systems.
Thanks to the NXperience software, DigiRail IoT enables quick and easy configuration. It also supports NXperience Trust, which ensures compliance with standards such as FDA CFR 21 Part 11—ideal for industries such as the pharmaceutical and food sectors.
The key advantage lies in the versatility of its integration: In addition to integration with local systems, it also enables connection to clouds such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and the NOVUS Cloud. This facilitates remote monitoring, alerting, and decision-making based on real-time data.
Thanks to the analog inputs (0–5 V, 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, and 4–20 mA), nearly all B+B transmitters are compatible with the DigiRail IoT Gateway, such as our popular GLT outdoor sensors, our pendulum sensors, or our pressure transmitters.
This way, your measurement data is sent directly to the cloud or your local control system.
