Book calibrations quickly and easily

For a large number of items in our B+B online shop, the option of calibration is listed. This is generally divided into two types of calibration: “DAkkS-accredited calibration” (ISO 17025) and “factory calibration” (ISO9001). In addition to selecting the desired type of calibration, you can also choose the desired calibration points. Would you like optional calibration for your selected products? Then simply activate the slider ? (the option) and your product will be processed with the desired calibration in our accredited B+B calibration laboratory after receipt of the order. Please note that we offer only standard calibrations in our online shop. Customer specific calibrations can be performed by request.

Why is calibration beneficial?

With growing quality demands and increasingly stringent guidelines, calibration is also becoming an increasingly important issue, as these guidelines are fundamentally leading to ever higher requirements, rules, and specifications in production, manufacturing, and storage processes. As a result, more and more processes are being monitored, tested, and documented using targeted measurement technology.

The B+B calibration laboratory is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for the thermodynamic parameters of temperature and relative humidity.

Difference between accredited calibration and factory calibration

The corresponding DAkkS-accredited calibration ensures that our calibrations are traceable to both national and international standards. Thanks to agreements with ILAC, DAkkS calibration certificates are recognized internationally.

Factory calibration, on the other hand, documents the calibration status of the object to be calibrated. The uncertainty of the standards used is specified in the calibration certificate. The standards used for this purpose are subject to regular monitoring as part of our DAkkS accreditation and are usually the same as those used for accredited calibrations.
