Corona actions

We continue to be 100% available to you during this difficult time. As a reliable partner in measurement technology, we are always there for you during the Corona crisis and will help where we can. Nevertheless, the health and safety of all employees, customers, suppliers and service providers is our top priority. To ensure this, we have taken extensive measures. In addition to the now familiar measures “keep a distance of 1.5 m” and “do not form crowds”, we are also ensuring safety with disinfection facilities, home offices and relaxed working hours. The expansion of the IT infrastructure in particular is currently being driven forward strongly in order to limit personal contact as far as possible and to solve communication, both externally and internally, via the latest tools. This is also imperative, as B+B has decided to seal off the two separate buildings at the Donaueschingen site from each other and thus prevent “walk-in traffic” between the buildings. This ensures less personal contact and increases the security of each individual.

In addition to the protective measures already mentioned, B+B has unceremoniously solved the problem of insufficient protective masks itself. In the meantime, the protective masks are produced on the in-house 3D printer and subsequently assembled. These masks are used particularly in production, where it is difficult to isolate employees in their own rooms or even in the home office.

In addition to the protective measures for employees, we also faced the challenge of not leaving you, the customer, in the lurch. Due to the lack of care for our youngest family members, there was a great risk that many employees would have to stay at home to look after the children. In the case of production employees, a home office solution would not have been possible. In this case, we actively supported our employees in finding a childcare option and also set up a small, in-house childcare facility. Employees who could not find a private childcare solution thus have the opportunity to have their children looked after directly at B+B. Of course, this care also takes place under the strictest, specified guidelines.

We continue to be able to deliver and are working flat out to maintain our ability to deliver.
