Measurement solutions for the energy sector

From May 7th to 9th, 2025, the trade fair in Munich was once again transformed into the center of the international energy industry. The smart E Europe 2025 is Europe’s largest platform for the energy sector. In addition, this special trade fair brings together a total of four leading trade fairs: Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe. This year’s motto “We are the Energy System” focused on integrated solutions for a sustainable 24/4 energy supply.

Particularly in the area of solar thermal energy, energy storage systems and charging infrastructures for electromobility, visitors were able to see that our products, from temperature sensors such as the collector and pipe contact sensors to humidity sensors from the new GLT series, also make a decisive contribution to increasing efficiency and system integration.

Our measurement solutions support manufacturers and system integrators in providing precise measurement data for the control and monitoring of energy systems. This is essential for optimizing operating conditions and maximizing energy efficiency.

Collector probe

Art.No.: SHOP 0625 0389

This Pt1000 cable sensor or collector sensor is ideal for measuring the temperature in gaseous and liquid media. This makes this product from B+B suitable for air conditioning technology, solar and photovoltaic systems, heat pumps and heating/cooling technology.

This cable sensor is equipped with a heat-resistant PTFE cable so that it can also be used in high temperature ranges of up to +300 °C. Thanks to the crimped stainless steel sleeve (on the process side), the measuring unit is ideally protected against mechanical influences and therefore has a watertight property and IP67 protection rating.

The corresponding cable (2-wire) has free ends on the connection side and is assembled with tinned wire end ferrules.

Temperature probes for pipes

Art.No.: SHOP 0625 0516-100M

The B+B temperature probes for pipes with a Pt100 sensor, Pt1000 or also with thermistors and PTC thermistors are ideal for measuring the temperature of different pipe diameters with a tensioning chain. Accordingly, this product is an adaptive surface temperature sensor for a wide range of measurement applications.

Our contact sensor is equipped with an aluminum prism housing, which ensures optimum temperature conductivity. The supplied tensioning chain enables a wide range of applications so that different pipe diameters can be served with just one sensor.

This temperature probe for pipes can be found in particular in refrigeration and air conditioning technology, heating technology or in the temperature measurement of flow and return temperatures.

Mineral insulated thermocouples

Art.No.: K-0363 0050-10
