New laser for production

Ergonomic Design

Another feature of this workstation that deserves special mention is its ergonomic design. The workstation was specifically designed to meet the needs of employees and minimize health risks. The use of two Z-axes allows the working height to be individually adjusted. This means that both shorter and taller individuals can make optimal use of the system without having to adopt an unnatural or straining posture.

Workstation Adaptability

Workstation adaptability has a direct positive impact on user well-being. An ergonomically correct posture reduces the risk of both muscle and skeletal disorders, which are often caused by monotonous or physically demanding tasks. Compared to B+B’s existing laser welding system, the new system features a rotary axis for welding round components. This increases flexibility and product range. In addition to the extra axis, the new system also features an integrated camera for training purposes. This makes it easier to train employees at the new workstation, and the entire laser welding process can be demonstrated in a simple and understandable way.

Ultimately, the additional laser welding system means higher production capacity in the field of laser welding for B+B.
