Youth tournament FC Wolterdingen

Already for the 10th time the B+B youth tournaments took place at FC 1920 Wolterdingen e.V. on September 11 and 12. The sponsor of this annual event has been B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH from Donaueschingen for 10 years.

The first day of the tournament was dominated by the D-Juniors in the fight for the tournament victory. 6 teams consisting of players between 8 and 10 years of age played exciting games until the last minute. The day’s winner was FC Pfaffenweiler. Sunday was filled with 16 teams of the E-Juniors. The tournament was held on four small fields, on which the young talents up to 7 years of age showed fighting spirit. The winner of the day was SSC Donaueschingen.

For the first four of each tournament there were cash prizes totaling € 1,500 to be won, which were provided by the main sponsor B+B and are intended to support the youth work in the respective club. In addition, each participant in the tournament received a B+B drinking bottle, which caused a lot of joy among the young kickers. The entry fee of each team was converted into food vouchers and thus flowed directly back into the teams. “Main starch” of the B+B youth tournaments on two tournament days were over 120 kg of fries.

In total, more than 400 junior players and coaches found their way to Wolterdingen’s Stadion am Damm on September 11 and 12. In addition, many spectators came to watch the games of the young players.
